Earlier this month I painted live at one of NZ’s largest charity nights – the annual Grocery Ball at the Langham in Auckland, organised by S2N Events.
My final painting of the night (performed in 5 minutes) was of Mr John Key, the New Zealand Prime Minister, who unfortunately had to cancel his attendance from the night. Mr Key however, was good enough to sign the painting, photograph below.
So that makes 3 current Prime Ministers I have now painted.
Paintings of Bono, Elvis and Mr Key were auctioned for the Look Good Feel Better charity and raised just over $20,000.
