Charity Entertainment

Since taking out Entertainer of the Year last year at the Australian Event Awards, I’ve had the busiest year ever.  But it hasn’t just been the many corporate shows that I do, the charities are knocking as word gets out about some of the prices my artwork has gone for.

For charity events inparticular, it is great when there is someone famous in the room – performing a live painting of them and having them sign the canvas is a really unique experience for the audience and a very unique auction item!  It’s also a bit of an adrenalin rush for me as I try and keep the audience guessing on whom it is I am painting before inviting them to the stage for a quick chat and then their autograph on the canvas.

Coming up I am painting Australia’s 25th Prime Minister, John Howard, our second longest serving PM, live at a fundraiser in Darwin. With the funds helping out Darwin Hospital, this will no doubt be a spectacular fundraiser.

At a recent charity event, Aussie cricketer Brad Hogg was captured on canvas
