Chk Chk Blaze

24 09 2009

I recently filmed a quick speed painting segment with Unseen TV.  Please note that I was interviewed by Logan and not the chk chk boom girl (Claire Werbeloff) from Unseen TV.

The fun of live interviews:  Brad Blaze “I’ve always done things quickly…”

whoops.

Morning Show

26 07 2009

Finally.. here is the video for those that missed the Morning Show.

The show was alot of fun, live TV always is!

9 July 2009

9 07 2009

A busy day… considering it is my birthday!

Started off on The Morning Show / Channel 7 where I speed painted host Kylie Gylies in four minutes.   It’s always a fun challenge doing live television and time flies when you are speed painting and talking at the same time!  Us men weren’t meant to do both…

I’ll upload the video when I get a chance..

Picked up the afternoon paper and to my upmost surprise, found myself on the front page!  (The Leader, Sutherland Shire).  I had this photo with Susie Maroney and fellow artist Brett Bower about a month ago, but was quite surprised to see it run on the front page.

If you are in the Sutherland Shire this Saturday, come down to Peace Park and you’ll see some amazing artwork and we’ll try and crack a few jokes as well..  in the meantime, send all birthday presents to this address…..

The Shak

1 04 2009

Whilst I was in the US, Channel 9 showed my appearance on “The Shak”.

This video has a funny story to it - alot of paints were warm and started to get gluggy (this was filmed in Brisbane in summer). Anyway, when they actually shot my segment of the show - the blue paint was no longer runny and during my first few brushstrokes, I got a thick gluggy piece of it paint right in the corner of my left eye. I literally couldn’t open my eye, so I just closed it and completed the speed painting with one eye. Still it was alot of fun (TV always is) and the show must go on!

The Shak - TV Appearance

4 03 2009

Tune into The Shak on Friday (Channel 9, 4pm AEST) where you can see me speed paint Harry Potter and the host Nitro. It was recorded last year up at TCN Brisbane and the Shaksters are a great team and alot of fun.

Actually - from the photo on their home page, the painting of Nitro looks pretty cool:

I’ll be on a plane for my performances in the USA on Friday, so I guess I’ll have to record it somehow… anyone got TIVO?

Saturday Disney Appearance

16 02 2009

On the weekend Saturday Disney showed something we recorded last year.

It was recorded at Artescape in St Leonards, Sydney - a great place to really make a mess!
