Diabetes Australia Gala Charity Dinner 2008

During the annual "Buzz Ball" Charity Dinner, Brad engaged the 500 pax audience during his show as he speed painted three iconic celebrities. He also involved members of the audience during his paintings as they performed some comedic skits. The paintings created during the show (Elvis, Bono and Mohammed Ali) were then auctioned for charity raising $7,000. It was a great result for Diabetes Australia - fantastic entertainment and fundraising all in one.

Fiji Showcase 2008

As one of four selected international acts for Showcase (Fiji's largest trade and entertainment event), Brad Blaze performed his speed painting/caricature show to packed crowds in Vodafone arena Suva. Performing two shows a day over eight days to an estimated crowd of 50,000 people was an amazing experience. Highlights for Brad included becoming somewhat of a celebrity - appearing on the 6pm news, on the radio daily, in the newspapers and even painting the Fiji Prime Minister during a live show.
National Reconciliation Forum 2008, Kalgoorlie, Western Australia

Brad Blaze painted Aboriginal themed paintings to a funky music mix of the noises of the outback and the didgeridoo. Two of the paintings were auctioned for charity. Brad also painted "Bono" to the U2 song "One" which was appropriate in recognising the reconciliation between indiginous Australia. Brad also drew attendees on the night including Australia's richest man Andrew Forrest (CEO- Fortescue Metals) who was amazed by the speed painting show.

Burbank Homes in Melbourne, Australia

The Sphere Agency produced a launch of a new showroom for Burbank Homes in Melbourne CBD 2007. Audience of approx 200 suppliers. Placed inside of a full glass room in the centre of the showroom, Brad performed his Icons of the 20th Century Show with four speed paintings (Elvis, Sinatra, Hepburn and Bono) whilst the guests watched on in amazement.

Malaysian F1 Gala dinner 2008 in Singapore

On behalf of RBS, a sponsor of the Williams Formula 1 car, Brad Blaze performed a customised show painting the car and driver Nico Rosberg to high energy music and the sounds of the Formula One. Nico signed the paintings, a caricature drawn on the night and a series of speed painting prints (see first image inset) which were later given away as lucky door prizes.

Crowne Plaza in Sydney, Australia

The Crowne Plaza required some spectacular entertainment for their Melbourne Cup Day 2007 gala lunch. In front of a sold out event of 200 people Brad was the MC and also performed his "Magic on Canvas" show with model dancer.

Pricewaterhouse Coopers Events Sydney and Melbourne 2008

As part of an annual PWC reunion dinner, Brad Blaze performed his "Icons of the 20th century show" infront of 900 spectators at the Museum of Contemporary Art. The paintings were purchased by PWC and given away as lucky door prizes.

Carrefour in Beijing and Tianjin, China

The Eight Group produced a culture barrier breaking tour of China where Brad drew large caricatures/portraits on stage in the hypermarket shopping centres of Carrefour. Over a three week period he visited eight stores and drew close to five hundred people.


South Australian PGA, Adelaide, Australia

At the South Australian PGA Golf Open gala dinner Brad entertained the audience with a comedy magic and art show. His artworks were sold, raising money for the Variety Club during a live auction.

 

Pacific Hotel Management School, New Zealand

To celebrate the anniversary of the company, Brad was a special guest as he entertained the audience during the gala dinner celebrations.

Other Recent Events

Brad kickstarted the the 'International Stars of Magic show' with a speed painting infront of 900 spectators which also featured David Williamson (USA), Nicholas Einhorn (UK), Barry Mitchell (USA) and Magic to the Max (AUS).

Brad has entertained the public at Volkswagen events - Sydney Festival, Chinese New Year, Melbourne and Sydney motor shows during 2007/2008.

Brad entertained at V8 races throughout Australia - Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Phillip Island, Melbourne, Tasmania, Bathurst during 2006 and 2007 seasons for Orrcon racing. His artwork has also been auctioned for Wildlife Warriors (the Steve Irwin charity).

Brad is the official "Sharpie" (Sanford Brands) artist - entertaining at a number of shows during 2007/2008.


FUNDRAISERS / CHARITY GALA DINNERS

Brad has been involved with a number of fundraising activities for charity organisations. In fact, his speed paintings are often auctioned before the paint has time to dry. At the South Australian PGA Golf Open dinner Brad performed and raised money for the Variety Club. For the Oncology Children's Foundation, a single piece of artwork sold for $2,000 during a charity gala dinner.



WEDDINGS

Although the majority of Brad's shows are performed at corporate events, with such a unique and captivating talent, Brad has performed his "Icons of the 21st Century Show" at weddings. With each segment of the show having audience participation, Brad has tailored this show so that the bride, the groom, the wedding party and the bride and grooms parents become the centrepiece of some of the performances during the show.
